“They
are neither floating in the air, nor are their feet applied
to the floor. They are not stable, but at the same time they
are not instable as well.
I like things that are hanging. Perhaps it might be that I like
it when the feet get separated from the earth and are floating
for just a little while. […] The tension of being omitted for
an interval is not flying, but a simple interim in existence
while feeling the gravity of the body. I have tried to make
some hangings, while feeling this mental strain of falling out
of space.”
