Asa
Go was born in Kanagawa, Japan
in 1978 and is a contemporary Japanese artist. In 2003 she graduated
from Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music and in 2005 she
was selected to represent the Japanese Government in an overseas
study program in New York.
Her penetrating and unique style captures the viewer’s imagination
and interest as the simplicity of form belies a complex visual
world. She also works in installation creating energized spaces
and is currently a well known figure in the contemporary Japanese
art world.
